Molokai abounds
with a wide variety of beautiful flowers. Every type
of tropical flower can be found here. The most talented
Molokai gardeners can even grow roses. Many ferns
and flora are used for making leis and have special
powers and meanings in ceremonial purposes. Various
forms are tradionally used to honor nature and the
wearer.
The pineapple, although not
native to Hawaii, is used as the symbol of welcome.
It's inviting at the entry to a house or in the warmth
and hospitality of the kitchen.
Linda Kanani Johnston's florals are available in giclee-type
prints in three standard frame sizes: Small 8 "x10",
Medium 11"x14" and Large 16"x20".
Frames in these sizes are readily available and more
economical than custom frames.
For generations, prints were always hand-pulled by
the artist.
These art prints are digitally-printed by the artist
and matted
with a linen-textured neutral-tone surface. They are
ready to frame.
Some originals are still available. Click on the image
