post offices have accepted coconuts for mailing -
unwrapped!
Decorations and greetings
are left to the imagination of the senders. Surprised
and delighted recipients can sometimes still husk
and eat the coconut.
But some coconuts are just
too beautiful to eat! Painted coconuts are dried and
will last indefinitely as home decorations and keepsakes.

Flowered coconuts can be used as permanent flower
arrangements and table centerpieces.
Wedding Keepsakes
Wedding coconuts are custom- inscribed and decorated
to commemorate weddings, anniversaries and renewals
of vows.
A replica of a bridal bouquet
painted on a coconut, portraits of the bride and groom,
or a lush tropical flower design are all possibilities.These
are particularly appreciated for weddings that take
place in Hawaii.
Portraits, Pets, Animals
& Sea Life
Design possibilities are similar to paintings that
are available on rocks: portraits of children, favorite
pets, local animals, sea life etc.
As with rocks, coconuts
can be painted front, back, top and bottom. Coconut
aquariums - painted all over with undersea creatures
are very popular.
Pricing
Prices range from $150 to $950 and varies depending
on subject matter and coverage. Includes shipping
to the USA and Canada . They are signed, numbered
and come with a certificate of authenticity.
